Post Downpipe ticking?
I just installed a R/T downpipe on my GTP the other day and I was just wondering if its normal to hear a slight "ticking" noise on acceleration. Its not a metal on metal sound and I can't feel any leaks at the manifold gasket.

No I didn't flip it but I still have lots of clearance, seems to be consistent with engine speed.

I seem to recall reading somewhere that it's pretty common. I believe its from the steel braided section of the beld in the down pipe.

there shouldn't be any ticking with the R/T downpipe. make sure you have no leaks

This one is the one without the flex pipe...I'm used to it now, I just wasn't expecting that much more noise with it.

The only thing that would be ticking with engine rpm changes would be a leak since you dont have the flex pipe. You should be able to see a clear leakage.
