An interface in phpBB is called a "Style". Because phpBB3 is still fairly new, there are not a lot of styles out there. There may or may not be a black one.

I would prefer to keep the existing style. A new style would mean that a lot of code changes that have been done to this style would have to be re done in the new style. If there was enough support, I may consider changing it.

it would actually be pretty neat if we could choose our own style in the UCP. but if its a lot of work... meh

I beleive it is possible to install multiple styles, and the user can select which one they want to use. However, the code changes I have made are made specifically in this style. For example the header with our logo shows up on this style. But on another style it would not, unless the same code changes were made on that style as well.

When I get some time, I will install another style and see just how it reacts.

So I have installed a few additional styles. As I said earlier, there are not many phpBB3 styles out there. Also as I thought, any custom code changes made in the default style are not reflected in the alternate styles.

You can change which style you use from the "User Control Panel".
