Not exactly what you asked for, but still a good informative discussion.

Tinted tails. Remove from car. Wet sand with 800 grit or so, clean and dry them off. Apply a thin layer of VHT Niteshades, I it picked up from JB's Powercenter for like $8.00, wait for a few mins untill tacky, apply two more coats of VHT and let dry. If there is orange peel you can wet sand with some 1500 grit or so, then apply clear coat, I did three coats of clear. Let dry over night, then put back on car. Pretty easy.

I think I used about 9 coats of each... I used the whole can of nite shade anyways.... Just depends on how dark ya want them.

Some one mentioned the clear coat , what kind should I buy ?

Don't buy the NHT flame proof stuff that Lyndon and I bought and used the first time around. It faded and peeled off. I just re-did mine in the spring and am happy with the new stuff I bought. I think it was like plasti-coat or dupli-colour automotive clear coat. I will see if I still have to to see exactly what it was I used.
